As an educator it is
important to acquire knowledge in the field of technology. With knowledge you
can gain skill to prefect students learning. Education means more than
acquiring knowledge. It empowers people to develop personally and become
politically active. Education empowers, and education promotes greater
participation in students as well as teachers. According Picciano (2008) in Chapter
4 he states that this concept that knowledge is power should not be reviewed
negatively. Because of public control and the number of constituents, schools
generally require their administrative leaders to have expert or information
power.
However I am a family
oriented person who teaches my family the things they need to function on a
daily base. My family has learned over
the years how to collaborate and work together as a team. Teaching them allows
me to concentrate on being effective leader and sharpen my skills in the
teaching process. Most of my family members know the value of obtaining knowledge
and how it can lead to success in life. Education
is very important to both your personal and professional life, in a number of
significant ways!
With an education I have learned to growth in knowledge and success. My
vision is to become effective teacher in the future as I continue to grow in
Knowledge. According to Hall (2011) theory is a key responsibility of any
leader is the development and management of an organization’s or team’s vision.
The presence of a powerful vision is what allows an organization to reach its
goals. Where there is no vision, the people
perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
